Work attachment programme for performing arts professionals

TAIVEX² is a work attachment programme for Finnish performing arts (circus, dance, theatre) professionals in 2012–2013. During the programme, every participant will go to a foreign organization for a work attachment period ranging from 2 weeks to 2 months according to the participant’s and receiving organisation’s wishes. The aim is to tailor a work attachment period in a foreign organisation so that both the participant’s and her/his organization will benefit from it, especially the international functions.

In addition to the work attachment programme, TAIVEX² will include 6 study periods (=workshops). The theme of this training package is ‘Management and Strategic Planning in Performing Arts Organization and strategy work in international contexts.

The  30 participants of TAIVEX² were chosen through an open call.  The participants were chosen by the project partners (Theatre Info Finland, Dance Info Finland, Finnish Circus Information Centre).

 

TAIVEX² is carried out by Theatre Info Finland together with Dance Info Finland, Finnish Circus Information Centre, and the cities of Helsinki, Turku, Tampere and Pori.

TAIVEX² is funded by European Social Fund – the main financier is Häme ELY Center.
